The Macouria theater and the TAANPU TANDE association invite you on Saturday April 10, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. to a debate screening that will deal with gender-based violence.
The screening will highlight the work of Guyanese and Haitian directors.
1 / "My mother is a super-heroine", a film by Chloé BEBRONNE, plunges us into the naive world of a child who builds an imaginary world to escape this situation.
2 / "Because I love you", a film by Marvin YAMB, makes us fall into a raw reality that is often hidden.
3 / "Twa fey" the film by Eleonore COYETTE, tells the traces that domestic violence, rape and various assaults can leave on the lives of 3 women.
The debate that will follow will be resolutely turned towards understanding the causes of this systemic violence.
