Lancement du Fonds Vert 2024 en Guyane

Fort de la réussite du Fonds vert en 2023, le Gouvernement a décidé de doubler les crédits concourant aux projets de la transition écologique pour la Guyane en 2024.
Lancé le 27 août 2022, le fonds d’accélération de la transition écologique « Fonds vert » vise à accompagner les investissements locaux contribuant à la transition écologique. Il vient notamment en appui des contrats pour la réussite de la transition écologique (CRTE), en complémentarité des autres dotations de l’État.

En 2023, 40 projets ont été sélectionnés en Guyane, représentant un investissement total de 24,7M€ et soutenus à hauteur de 9,4M€. Les communes et leurs groupements, principaux bénéficiaires du fonds, ont pu engager des travaux, comme la rénovation de l’éclairage public à Kourou, Macouria, Papaichton et Saül, l’aménagement d’une zone de mouillage à Roura, ou, le lancement des études sur le recul du trait de côte à Awala-Yalimapo et Macouria, et sur la restauration des berges du Maroni à Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni.

En 2024, la Guyane bénéficie d’un doublement de sa dotation, qui est porté à :

16,8 M€ pour les projets concourant à la performance environnementale, l’adaptation au changement climatique et l’amélioration de la qualité du cadre de vie ;
3M€ pour les projets en faveur de la biodiversité.

Les collectivités territoriales et les autres porteurs éligibles (associations, établissements publics de l’État, bailleurs sociaux, etc.) sont invités à déposer leur dossier dès à présent sur la plateforme Aides-territoires (https://aides-territoires.beta.gouv.fr/programmes/fonds-vert/).

Les services de l’État sont pleinement engagés pour appuyer les collectivités dans leurs efforts en faveur de
la transition écologique et dans leurs projets de développement du territoire.

Building on the success of the Green Fund in 2023, the Government has decided to double the credits contributing to ecological transition projects for Guyana in 2024.
Launched on August 27, 2022, the ecological transition acceleration fund “Green Fund” aims to support local investments contributing to the ecological transition. It notably supports contracts for the success of the ecological transition (CRTE), in addition to other State grants.

In 2023, 40 projects were selected in Guyana, representing a total investment of €24.7M and supported to the tune of €9.4M. The municipalities and their groups, the main beneficiaries of the fund, were able to undertake work, such as the renovation of public lighting in Kourou, Macouria, Papaichton and Saül, the development of an anchorage area in Roura, or the launch studies on the retreat of the coastline at Awala-Yalimapo and Macouria, and on the restoration of the banks of the Maroni at Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni.

In 2024, Guyana will benefit from a doubling of its allocation, which is increased to:

€16.8 million for projects contributing to environmental performance, adaptation to climate change and improving the quality of the living environment;
€3M for projects in favor of biodiversity.

Local authorities and other eligible sponsors (associations, State public establishments, social landlords, etc.) are invited to submit their application now on the Aides- platform. territories (https://aides-territoires.beta.gouv.fr/programmes/fonds-vert/).

State services are fully committed to supporting communities in their efforts in favor of
ecological transition and in their territorial development projects.
