Gabriel Serville, president of the Territorial Collectivity of French Guiana and president of the Board of Directors of IMED read, with amazement, the press release from the general manager of the Regional Agency for Guyana Health relating to the definitive cessation of activity of the structure.
In front of the Guyanese population, called to witness, Gabriel Serville expresses his astonishment: never, until the board of directors of last June 8, information had circulated of the existence of the inspection mission mentioned by the ARS.
Before drawing such extreme conclusions, it would have been natural to at least inform the administrators.
Such practices, on the part of an administrative authority on departure, are all the more questionable as they occur at the end of a disputed course.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors does not wish to comment on the terms of the press release which claims to prohibit him from contact with the provisional administrator. He confines himself to indicating that he plans to take legal action against the legality of the decision taken by the current director general of the ARS so that the future of the structure is not "hindered" by a decision taken in such a way unilateral and without any consultation.
