Grand Prix Martial Sinda de la poésie francographe

D’abord circonscrit, pour des raisons de logistique aux poètes résidant à Madagascar indistinctement de leur nationalité, de très nombreux poètes résidant dans d’autres Pays du Sud, ayant lu le règlement via Facebook (lequel a touché plus de 15 000 personnes), ont trouvé inique qu’ils ne puissent y prendre part également. Face à ces requêtes, le Comité d’organisation après délibération, a voté à l’unanimité l’élargissement de l’ex Grand Prix de poésie Martial Sinda à l’ensemble des poètes francographes résidant dans les Pays du Sud (de l’Algérie au Vietnam en passant par la Côte d’Ivoire) et dans les départements de l’Outremer .

Chaque poète participant francographe vivant dans un Pays du Sud ou des Outre-Mers doit envoyer un seul recueil inédit (n’ayant jamais été publié) d’une vingtaine de poèmes, au plus tard le 31 octobre 2022. Le Grand Prix Martial Sinda de la poésie francographe récompensera, en mars 2023, un recueil de poèmes de langue française, en vers libres ou en versification classique, ancré par sa langue et ses images dans la culture d’un pays du Sud ou des Outre-Mer, et ayant trait à l’histoire, à la mémoire, à la résistance.

Le lauréat du Grand Prix aura son recueil de poèmes édité par une maison d’éditions parisiennes, et recevra un exemplaire de l’Anthologie des poèmes d’amour des Afriques et d’Ailleurs de Thierry Sinda. Le jury se laisse la possibilité d’attribuer des satisfecit, à d’autres poètes-participants, sous quelque forme que ce soit.

First limited, for logistical reasons to poets residing in Madagascar regardless of their nationality, a large number of poets residing in other countries of the South, having read the regulations via Facebook (which affected more than 15,000 people), found it iniquitous that they could not take part in it as well. Faced with these requests, the Organizing Committee, after deliberation, voted unanimously to extend the former Martial Sinda Poetry Grand Prize to all French-speaking poets residing in the Southern Countries (from Algeria in Vietnam via the Ivory Coast) and in the overseas departments.

Each Francograph participating poet living in a Southern or Overseas Country must send a single unpublished collection (never having been published) of around twenty poems, by October 31, 2022 at the latest. The Grand Prix Martial Sinda de Francograph poetry will reward, in March 2023, a collection of poems in French, in free verse or in classical verse, anchored by its language and its images in the culture of a country in the South or Overseas, and relating to history, to memory, to resistance.

The winner of the Grand Prize will have his collection of poems published by a Parisian publishing house, and will receive a copy of the Anthology of love poems from Africa and Elsewhere by Thierry Sinda. The jury leaves itself the possibility of awarding satisfecit to other poet-participants, in any form whatsoever.
