Yaëlle Canu, jeune Guyanaise podologue est de retour au pays

Chef de file des politiques sportives, la Collectivité Territoriale de Guyane (CTG) poursuit et intensifie son intervention pour le développement du sport, notamment à travers l’Institut de Formation et d’Accès au Sport (IFAS), tout en ayant un regard sur la santé des jeunes sportifs.

A ce titre, dans le cadre d’une convention entre la CTG et l’Institut de Formation en Pédicurie-Podologie du CHU de Bordeaux, un stage pratique au profit d'un meilleur suivi médical pour les jeunes sportifs pensionnaires de l’IFAS, se tient à l’Institut, du 14 au 18 février 2022.

Ainsi, deux étudiantes en 3ème année de pédicurie-podologie réalisent cette semaine des bilans podologiques, avec fabrication d’orthèses plantaires et don d’appareillages, au sein de l'IFAS, avec pour tutrice, Yaëlle Canu, jeune Guyanaise diplômée, ayant effectué ce même stage ce stage en 2020, et qui exerce aujourd’hui dans l’Hexagone.

Jeudi 17 février 2022, à partir de 11h00, un bilan podologique avec remise d’orthèses plantaires se déroulera à l’IFAS avec la participation des jeunes athlètes.

Leader of sports policies, the Territorial Collectivity of French Guiana (CTG) continues and intensifies its intervention for the development of sport, in particular through the Institute for Training and Access to Sport (IFAS), while having an eye on the health of young athletes.

As such, within the framework of an agreement between the CTG and the Institute of Training in Pedicure-Podology of the CHU of Bordeaux, a practical internship for the benefit of better medical follow-up for young sports residents of IFAS, is held at the Institute, from February 14 to 18, 2022.

Thus, two students in the 3rd year of pedicure-podiatry are carrying out podiatric assessments this week, with the manufacture of plantar orthoses and the donation of equipment, within the IFAS, with Yaëlle Canu, a young Guianese graduate, having carried out this same internship this internship in 2020, and who exercises today in France.

Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 11:00 a.m., a podiatric assessment with delivery of foot orthotics will take place at IFAS with the participation of young athletes.
