Dimanche 13 février 2022 : coup d’envoi de la caravane du carnaval !

Dans le cadre du lancement de la caravane du carnaval 2022, l’Observatoire Régional du Carnaval Guyanais (ORCG) a sollicité un partenariat avec la ville de Matoury.

Cette caravane vise à sensibiliser le public et à promouvoir la promotion du dépôt de candidature de la Guyane pour que le personnage du « Touloulou » soit inscrit au Patrimoine immatériel de l’UNESCO.

Le passage de la caravane sur le territoire de Matoury (dimanche 13 février 2022 sur la place du marché) lance l’opération qui sera conduite sur toutes les communes de Guyane. Pour ce coup d’envoi, une pléiade d’artistes soutient bénévolement l’opération : Victor Clet, Ti Coco, Olivier Valerius, Roméo Leter etc....

As part of the launch of the 2022 carnival caravan, the Regional Observatory of the Guiana Carnival (ORCG) has requested a partnership with the city of Matoury.

This caravan aims to raise public awareness and promote the promotion of French Guiana's application for the character of "Touloulou" to be included in the Intangible Heritage of UNESCO.

The passage of the caravan on the territory of Matoury (Sunday February 13, 2022 on the market square) launches the operation which will be carried out in all the municipalities of French Guiana. For this kick-off, a host of artists voluntarily supports the operation: Victor Clet, Ti Coco, Olivier Valerius, Roméo Leter etc....
