Visite de l'association Doggy Oasis International par le préfet Thierry QUEFFELEC

Le préfet Thierry QUEFFELEC se rendra sur le site de l’association située à Matiti, jeudi 23 septembre 2021 à 10h30, afin de visiter le site et échanger avec les porteurs du projet financé par France Relance.

Le projet concerne l’extension d’un refuge pour chiens sur le territoire de la commune de Kourou, secteur Matiti, sur un terrain appartenant déjà à l’association. Il vise à accueillir les chiens sans propriétaires dans une structure dédiée comportant des chenils et des équipements adéquats et aux normes.

Le projet prévoit ainsi la construction de nouveaux chenils, de locaux de quarantaine, de locaux de stockage, d’un local pour le personnel, la consolidation des accès et l’acquisition des matériels nécessaires aux chenils et au bien-être des animaux.

Dans un contexte où des problématiques relatives aux animaux domestiques subsistent en Guyane, générant des risques pour la santé publique, la biodiversité, le bien-être animal et la sécurité publique, ce type de projet est important.

L’entreprise bénéficie du plan France Relance pour développer ce projet d’un montant total de 311 000 €, financé à hauteur de 300 000 € par l’État.

Prefect Thierry QUEFFELEC will visit the association's site located in Matiti, Thursday September 23, 2021 at 10:30 am, to visit the site and discuss with the promoters of the project funded by France Relance.

The project concerns the extension of a dog shelter in the territory of the municipality of Kourou, Matiti sector, on land already belonging to the association. It aims to accommodate dogs without owners in a dedicated structure with kennels and adequate equipment and standards.

The project thus provides for the construction of new kennels, quarantine rooms, storage rooms, a room for staff, consolidation of access and the acquisition of materials necessary for kennels and animal welfare.

In a context where problems relating to domestic animals persist in French Guiana, generating risks for public health, biodiversity, animal welfare and public safety, this type of project is important.

The company is benefiting from the France Relance plan to develop this project for a total amount of € 311,000, financed to the tune of € 300,000 by the State.
