Avis du Comité Scientifique Territorial du lundi 15 mars 2021

Une nouvelle réunion du Comité Scientifique Territorial, installé par la Collectivité Territoriale de Guyane (CTG), se tenait ce lundi 08 mars 2021.

À l’issue de cette rencontre, le comité est en capacité d’émettre un certain nombre de recommandations à destination des autorités sanitaires, fondées sur l’évaluation de la situation épidémiologique sur le territoire.

Le comité préconise :

• En prévision d’un éventuel rebond de l’épidémie sur le territoire, un élargissement de l’accès à la vaccination à l’ensemble de la population, y compris les jeunes. Il rappelle l’impérieuse nécessité de mettre à profit cette période d’accalmie que connait actuellement le territoire pour vacciner massivement.

• Une implication des élus locaux dans la mise en œuvre de la campagne de vaccination, notamment via un concept de « Vaccine-Truck » à l’instar de la région bordelaise, l’idée étant d’adopter une stratégie de proximité et d’accès équitable au vaccin sur l’ensemble du territoire.

• Le déploiement de moyens importants en faveur de cette accélération de la vaccination, parmi lesquels un renforcement de la campagne de communication à destination de la population.

• Une conservation de la vigilance malgré la baisse importante de l’épidémie sur le territoire, compte-tenu de la persistance de la menace représentée par les variants ; incluant une observation stricte des gestes barrières ;

S’agissant de la Collectivité Territoriale de Guyane :

• Conformément aux recommandations du Comité Scientifique Territorial sur la stratégie de vaccination en Guyane, le Président Rodolphe Alexandre entend interpeller le Ministère de la Santé et des Solidarités sur la nécessité de radicalement accentuer la dynamique de vaccination en Guyane. (Mise à disposition d’un nombre de doses suffisant en accord avec une approche concertée, impliquant l’ensemble des élus locaux et la communauté médicale locale. Dans cette même démarche, la CTG entend organiser prochainement, en toute transparence, une conférence réunissant l’ensemble des acteurs du territoire et les autorités sanitaires afin de favoriser une démarche commune propre visant notamment à favoriser l’adhésion de la population.

• Convaincu de l’importance de la vaccination dans la lutte contre l’épidémie, le Président Rodolphe Alexandre se fera lui-même vacciner ce mardi 16 mars 2021 au matin au Centre Hospitalier de Cayenne.

A new meeting of the Territorial Scientific Committee, installed by the Territorial Collectivity of French Guiana (CTG), was held this Monday, March 08, 2021.

At the end of this meeting, the committee is able to issue a number of recommendations to the health authorities, based on the assessment of the epidemiological situation in the territory.

The committee recommends:

• In anticipation of a possible rebound of the epidemic in the territory, an expansion of access to vaccination to the entire population, including young people. He recalls the urgent need to take advantage of this period of lull that the territory is currently experiencing to massively vaccinate.

• Involvement of local elected officials in the implementation of the vaccination campaign, in particular via a concept of "Vaccine-Truck" like the Bordeaux region, the idea being to adopt a strategy of proximity and equitable access to the vaccine throughout the country.

• The deployment of significant resources in favor of this acceleration of vaccination, including a strengthening of the communication campaign aimed at the population.

• Maintaining vigilance despite the significant drop in the epidemic in the region, given the persistence of the threat represented by the variants; including strict observation of barrier gestures;

Regarding the Territorial Collectivity of French Guiana:

• In accordance with the recommendations of the Territorial Scientific Committee on the vaccination strategy in French Guiana, President Rodolphe Alexandre intends to challenge the Ministry of Health and Solidarity on the need to radically accentuate the vaccination dynamic in French Guiana. (Provision of a sufficient number of doses in accordance with a concerted approach, involving all local elected officials and the local medical community. In this same process, the CTG intends to organize soon, in full transparency, a conference bringing together the '' all the players in the territory and the health authorities in order to promote a specific common approach aimed in particular at promoting the support of the population.

• Convinced of the importance of vaccination in the fight against the epidemic, President Rodolphe Alexandre will be vaccinated this Tuesday, March 16, 2021 in the morning at the Cayenne Hospital Center.
