120 personnes vaccinées en trois jours à Cacao

De nombreux habitants du village ont exprimé leur souhait de se faire vacciner, suite à une réunion d’information avec les professionnels de santé. Une cinquantaine d’entre eux, parmi les plus âgés et ceux présentant des comorbidités, ont reçu leur première dose de vaccin, hier. La vaccination se poursuit aujourd’hui et demain.

Dans l’entrée du centre délocalisé de prévention et de soins (CDPS) de Cacao, sur la commune de Roura, tout le monde attend patiemment son tour, en ce mardi après-midi. Tout juste entend-on les clameurs des collégiens voisins, lancés dans une partie de foot endiablée. A l’intérieur du CDPS, tout est beaucoup plus calme. Chacun est venu avec sa carte vitale, son carnet de vaccination et une pièce d’identité. Le personnel soignant du centre est engagé, depuis hier, dans la vaccination contre le Covid-19. En trois jours, 120 habitants du village auront reçu leur première dose de vaccin. Les secondes seront administrées à partir du 6 avril.

Tout a commencé en février. « Beaucoup d’habitants du village nous posaient des questions sur le vaccin, se souvient Malika Miquel, infirmière du CDPS de Cacao depuis vingt-huit ans. Comme nous avons un groupe WhatsApp du village, j’ai invité les habitants à venir poser leurs questions. » Pendant deux heures, les professionnels de santé se retrouvent face à une cinquantaine d’habitants qui leur font part de leurs interrogations, de leurs craintes, de leurs doutes mais aussi pour certains de leur envie de se faire vacciner. A la fin de la réunion, une large partie de l’auditoire se montre intéressée pour être vaccinée. Il lui est proposé de venir s’inscrire au centre de santé. Dès le lendemain, une cinquantaine de personnes se présentent pour un rendez-vous.

Le rythme des inscriptions ne faiblit pas. Ils sont 120 à demander à recevoir leur vaccin. Un effectif élevé, qui permet d’envisager une opération en dehors d’un centre de vaccination. Malika Miquel et Ge Moua, aide-soignante depuis trente-trois ans au CDPS, ont l’avantage de connaître tous les habitants. Inscriptions, allergies, antécédents, carnets de vaccination, jour et heure de rendez-vous : tout est vérifié, enregistré, ce qui rend l’opération efficace. Hier matin, le Dr Vignier, qui suit les opérations de vaccination pour les centres de santé, et Estelle Jacoud, infirmière de la coordination des CDPS, ont apporté les doses depuis la pharmacie de l’hôpital de Cayenne. Malika Miquel, Ge Moua et le Dr Nathalie Bonnave, médecin du CDPS depuis un mois, étaient sur le pont, pour vacciner une cinquantaine d’habitants, au rythme de six par heure. Ainsi, grâce à la mobilisation des acteurs locaux, la tenue de l’opération pendant ces trois jours n’empêche pas le centre de vaccination de Cayenne de fonctionner normalement en parallèle.

« Le village a été peu touché par le Covid. Il y a donc un vrai bénéfice à vacciner, constate le Dr Vignier. Dès le départ, Malika Miquel nous avait alertés qu’il y aurait de la demande. Dans les autres CDPS, nous faisons face à davantage de réticence. Mais les lignes bougent, à Maripasoula, à Saint-Georges. » Dans cette commune, où les soignants du CDPS vaccinent deux fois par semaine, une centaine d’habitants a d’ores et déjà reçu au moins une dose. Une opération d’envergure est prévue les 20 et 21 mars.

« Un certain nombre de pharmaciens seraient volontaires pour vacciner, souligne le Dr Fabien Sublet, pharmacien à Matoury. Il reste à connaître l’ensemble des pharmaciens qui le souhaitent sur le territoire, afin que l’on puisse démarrer le plus vite possible. Les pharmaciens sont habitués à vacciner contre la grippe. Le principal risque, c’est le choc anaphylactique. Mais la présence d’Anapen est déjà obligatoire dans les pharmacies vaccinant contre la grippe. »

Jean-Marie Decollas, pharmacien à Sinnamary, a d’ores et déjà confirmé son accord, mercredi, à l’issue d’une rencontre avec Clara de Bort, directrice générale de l’ARS Guyane, en présence du Dr Serge Caut, médecin libéral à Sinnamary, et du maire Michel-Ange Jérémie. La mairie a donné son accord pour lui apporter un soutien administratif afin d’effectuer les saisies informatiques. Cela permettra de garantir les deuxièmes injections d’habitants de la commune, prévues les 12 et 19 mars, soit à la pharmacie, soit au centre de santé situé dans les locaux de la PMI. De prochaines premières injections seront possibles à Sinnamary, soit en pharmacie, soit dans le centre de santé si des médecins de la PMI son volontaires pour apporter un appui.

Des discussions sont en cours entre l’ARS, les pharmaciens l’hôpital de Cayenne qui réceptionnent et conservent les doses, et le grossiste-répartiteur SPG. Celui-ci recenserait chaque semaine les besoins des pharmacies, se procurerait les doses auprès de la pharmacie d’usage intérieur du CHC puis les livrerait aux pharmacies concernées. Par ailleurs, une réflexion est engagée sur l’utilisation d’un véhicule de la Croix-Rouge, déjà équipé pour la vaccination, et du bus médico-social des PEEP, déjà utilisé pour le dépistage dans les communes de l’ouest, pour vacciner, notamment à Iracoubo.

It all started in February. "Many villagers asked us questions about the vaccine, recalls Malika Miquel, a nurse at the CDPS in Cacao for 28 years. As we have a WhatsApp group from the village, I invited the locals to come and ask their questions." For two hours, health professionals find themselves in front of about fifty inhabitants who share their questions, their fears, their doubts, but also for some of them their desire to be vaccinated. At the end of the meeting, a large part of the audience showed interest in being vaccinated. He is offered to come and register at the health center. The next day, about fifty people show up for an appointment.

The rate of registrations is not slowing down. They are 120 to request to receive their vaccine. A large staff, which makes it possible to consider an operation outside a vaccination center. Malika Miquel and Ge Moua, nursing assistant for thirty-three years at CDPS, have the advantage of knowing all the inhabitants. Registrations, allergies, history, vaccination records, date and time of appointment: everything is checked and recorded, which makes the operation efficient. Yesterday morning, Dr Vignier, who monitors vaccination operations for the health centers, and Estelle Jacoud, CDPS coordination nurse, brought the doses from the pharmacy at Cayenne hospital. Malika Miquel, Ge Moua and Dr Nathalie Bonnave, CDPS doctor for a month, were on the bridge to vaccinate around fifty inhabitants, at a rate of six per hour. Thus, thanks to the mobilization of local actors, the holding of the operation during these three days does not prevent the Cayenne vaccination center from functioning normally in parallel.

“The village has been little affected by the Covid. There is therefore a real benefit to being vaccinated, notes Dr Vignier. From the start, Malika Miquel alerted us that there would be demand. In other CDPS, we face more reluctance. But the lines are moving, in Maripasoula, in Saint-Georges. " In this commune, where CDPS caregivers vaccinate twice a week, around 100 residents have already received at least one dose. A large-scale operation is scheduled for March 20 and 21.

“A certain number of pharmacists would volunteer to vaccinate, underlines Dr Fabien Sublet, pharmacist in Matoury. It remains to know all the pharmacists who wish to do so in the region, so that we can start as quickly as possible. Pharmacists are used to vaccinating against the flu. The main risk is anaphylactic shock. But the presence of Anapen is already mandatory in pharmacies giving vaccines against the flu. "

Discussions are underway between the ARS, the pharmacists at Cayenne Hospital who receive and store the doses, and the wholesaler-distributor SPG. Each week, he would identify the needs of the pharmacies, obtain the doses from the internal use pharmacy of the CHC and then deliver them to the pharmacies concerned. In addition, discussions are underway on the use of a Red Cross vehicle, already equipped for vaccination, and the PEEP medico-social bus, already used for screening in the municipalities of the west, to vaccinate, especially in Iracoubo.
