Des tests antigéniques déployés pour protéger les plus fragiles

Le centre hospitalier de Cayenne a reçu vendredi une commande 67 200 tests antigéniques. Ils doivent permettre de détecter le Covid-19 en 20 à 30 minutes. Depuis samedi matin, ils sont en cours de livraison dans neuf établissements médico-sociaux et dans les CDPS. Le laboratoire Biosoleil les proposera également aux passagers arrivant à l’aéroport Félix-Eboué.

L’acheminement des tests antigéniques en Guyane a généré quelques nuits blanches, la semaine dernière. Sept palettes de 9 600 tests, soit 67 200 tests antigéniques commandés par le centre hospitalier de Cayenne, sont arrivés par avion, vendredi après-midi. Dès le lendemain, certains prenaient la route de Saint-Georges, des centres hospitaliers, des centres délocalisés de prévention et de soins (CDPS) et de neuf établissements médico-sociaux, grâce à une chaîne logistique incluant le CHC, l’entreprise adaptée Adap Pro Services, le grossiste-répartiteur et l’Agence régionale de santé.

Tout le week-end, les salariés d’Adap Pro Services ont préparé des cartons pour livrer, à neuf établissements médico-sociaux (EMS), 1 600 tests mais aussi des masques chirurgicaux, des FFP2, des lunettes, du gel hydro-alcoolique, des gants, des lingettes désinfectantes… tirés du stock Etat ou fournis par le grossiste-répartiteur ou Adap Pro Services. « Nous avons pu constituer tous les kits ce week-end », se satisfont Cécile Minne et Thierry Bron. Ce lundi après-midi, un premier véhicule prend la route de Kourou et Saint-Laurent du Maroni. Puis Alex Thelusma charge dans son utilitaire les kits pour les établissements de l’Île-de-Cayenne.

Au total, neuf EMS ont reçu des tests : les quatre établissements d’hébergement pour personnes âgées dépendantes (Ehpad Edmard-Lama, Franck-Joly, Ebène et Saint-Paul), les maisons d’accueil spécialisé (MAS) Ebène et Kourou (groupe SOS), l’institut médico-éducatif Yépi Kaz (Rémire-Montjoly, Apajh), l’institut d’éducation motrice de Matoury (PEP) et le service de soins infirmiers à domicile (Ssiad) Ebène. Ces établissements ont été choisis en raison de la forte vulnérabilité de leurs résidents, qu’ils soient âgés ou porteurs de handicap. Les tests permettront de s’assurer notamment que les personnels rentrant de congés et les intervenants extérieurs asymptomatiques ne sont pas porteurs du Covid-19 au moment de prendre en charge les usagers.

Les prélèvements sont généralement effectués par des personnels formés de l’établissement. Des formations seront dispensées par le CPias dans les établissements n’en ayant pas. En attendant, ils peuvent solliciter trois infirmières libérales qui se sont portées volontaires pour les aider.

Ce sera le cas de l’Ehpad Ebène. « Nous avons deux salariés qui rentrent de vacances, explique Christine Desportes, infirmière référente de l’établissement. Nos trente-cinq résidents sont fragiles. » Les tests seront un outil supplémentaire, en plus de toutes les mesures déployées par le personnel depuis mars, pour les protéger.

The routing of antigen tests to French Guiana generated a few sleepless nights last week. Seven pallets of 9,600 tests, or 67,200 antigenic tests ordered by the Cayenne hospital center, arrived by plane on Friday afternoon. The next day, some took the road to Saint-Georges, hospitals, delocalized prevention and care centers (CDPS) and nine medico-social establishments, thanks to a logistics chain including the CHC, the adapted company Adap Pro Services, the wholesaler-distributor and the Regional Health Agency.

All weekend, Adap Pro Services employees prepared boxes to deliver, to nine medico-social establishments (EMS), 1,600 tests but also surgical masks, FFP2, glasses, hydro-alcoholic gel , gloves, disinfectant wipes… taken from the State stock or supplied by the wholesaler-distributor or Adap Pro Services. “We were able to put together all the kits this weekend,” said Cécile Minne and Thierry Bron. This Monday afternoon, a first vehicle takes the road to Kourou and Saint-Laurent du Maroni. Then Alex Thelusma loads the kits for the establishments on Île-de-Cayenne into his utility vehicle.

In total, nine nursing homes received tests: the four accommodation establishments for dependent elderly people (Ehpad Edmard-Lama, Franck-Joly, Ebène and Saint-Paul), the specialized reception centers (MAS) Ebène and Kourou ( SOS group), the Yépi Kaz medico-educational institute (Rémire-Montjoly, Apajh), the Matoury motor education institute (PEP) and the home nursing service (Ssiad) Ebène. These establishments were chosen because of the high vulnerability of their residents, whether they are elderly or disabled. The tests will make it possible to ensure, in particular, that staff returning from leave and asymptomatic outside workers are not carriers of Covid-19 when taking care of users.

Samples are generally taken by trained personnel from the establishment. Training will be provided by the CPias in establishments that do not have one. In the meantime, they can approach three liberal nurses who have volunteered to help them.

This will be the case with the Ebène Ehpad. "We have two employees who are returning from vacation," explains Christine Desportes, the establishment's referral nurse. Our thirty-five residents are fragile. The tests will be an additional tool, on top of all the measures staff have deployed since March, to protect them.
