Des tests antigéniques à l’aéroport dans une semaine

Le laboratoire Biosoleil a déployé un drive à l’aéroport Félix-Eboué. Quatre à cinq agents y proposent un test RT-PCR aux passagers qui arriveraient sans l’avoir effectué avant de monter dans l’avion. A compter de la semaine prochaine, il pourra aussi proposer le test antigénique à tous les passagers, d’où qu’ils arrivent.

Le laboratoire en a commandé plusieurs milliers. Un premier lot doit arriver dans le courant de la semaine. Marc Lédy, son gérant, indique tout faire pour proposer ce test à compter de lundi prochain aux passagers arrivant des Antilles et de l’Hexagone. Pour ce faire, il a l’autorisation de s’installer soit dans son local face aux bureaux d’Air Caraïbes, soit dans la salle de récupération des bagages, où la place est toutefois limitée.

Les tests antigéniques permettront aux passagers d’obtenir leur résultat en vingt à trente minutes. « Mais attention, c’est une procédure totalement manuelle. S’il y a deux cents personnes à tester en même temps, il sera plus rapide de faire une RT-PCR », prévient-il.

The laboratory has ordered several thousand. A first batch should arrive during the week. Marc Lédy, its manager, indicates that he is doing everything to offer this test as of next Monday to passengers arriving from the West Indies and France. To do this, he has the authorization to settle either in his room opposite the Air Caraïbes offices, or in the baggage claim room, where space is however limited.

The antigen tests will allow passengers to get their results in twenty to thirty minutes. "But beware, this is a completely manual process. If there are two hundred people to be tested at the same time, it will be faster to do an RT-PCR, ” he warns.
