La CTG accompagne la confection de masques « alternatifs » en tissu

Face à la pénurie de masques de protection dans le contexte actuel de crise sanitaire liée au COVID-19, plusieurs initiatives individuelles de confection de masques en tissu dits « alternatifs » ont émergé.

La Collectivité Territoriale de Guyane (CTG), la Préfecture de Guyane et la Chambre des Métiers et de l’Artisanat de Guyane (CMAG) mènent une action conjointe visant à coordonner les différentes initiatives individuelles entreprises sur le territoire en termes de fabrication de masques artisanaux. L’objectif principal de cette démarche partenariale est de garantir une confection respectant le cahier des charges publié par AFNOR Spec (Association Française de Normalisation) le 27 mars dernier, et de permettre ainsi aux publics d’accéder à un produit de qualité offrant une protection optimale.

La CTG tient à préciser qu’elle n’intervient pas dans le processus de recensement des artisans souhaitant se mobiliser pour la confection de masques. Ceux-ci sont invités à se rapprocher de la Chambre des Métiers et de l’Artisanat de Guyane pour toute information.

Les couturiers et couturières de Guyane souhaitant participer à l’initiative de fabrication de masques alternatifs en tissu peuvent contacter la Chambre des Métiers et de l’Artisanat de la Guyane, qui mène actuellement un travail de recensement.
