Projection de film - Mois du Film Documentaire 2019

Dans le cadre du Mois du film documentaire, le Pôle Image du Maroni, organise 3 projections de films documentaires libres et gratuites sur la commune de Saint-Laurent du Maroni.

Projection le Vendredi 22 Novembre 2019 à 19h30 face au Carbet des Associations au Village chinois.

Plastic Planet de Werner Boote

Ce film permettra de continuer le travail engagé par le Carbet des Associations avec les habitants du Village chinois autour de la gestion et la réduction des déchets.

Synopsis : Commode et bon marché, le plastique semble être devenu incontournable dans notre vie quotidienne. Tous les secteurs de l’industrie mondiale dépendent aujourd’hui, d’une manière ou d’une autre, du plastique. est présent partout (emballages, matériaux de construction, électronique, vêtements...). Pourtant, le plastique est devenu un danger global, tant pour l’homme que pour la planète, symbole de sur-consommation et de pollution à grande échelle.

Le dernier rendez-vous du mois est une soirée organisée en partenariat avec le Fifac dans le cadre des projections Hors les murs !

Le film sera suivi d'un échange et d’une vente de produits au profit de l’association YanaColorZ, qui a pour objectif la lutte contre les discriminations liées au sexe, au genre, à l'orientation sexuelle.

Synopsis : Après une dizaine d’années d’absence, Lasseindra Ninja, icône incontournable du voguing, revient en Guyane, sa terre natale, pour former de jeunes danseurs. En leur transmettant un état d’esprit et une attitude basée sur l’affirmation de soi, elle leur livre des outils pour résister à l’hostilité du monde qui les entoure. Inventé dans les clubs souterrains de New York dans les années 80, le voguing a permis aux Noirs et Latinos issus de la communauté LGBTIQ+, de s’exprimer sous forme de joutes dansées, dans un espace sécurisé.

Retour sur la première projection:

Le Vendredi 15 Novembre à la salle polyvalente du Village de Paddock, une quarantaine de personnes étaient présentes pour la projection du film Ka’apor, le dernier combat de Nicolat Millet. Ce film aborde le combat des amérindiens de la réserve Alto Turiaçu (Brésil) contre les bûcherons illégaux présents sur le territoire.

This film will continue the work undertaken by Carbet Associations with the inhabitants of the Chinese Village around the management and reduction of waste.

However, plastic has become a global danger, both for humans and for the planet, a symbol of over-consumption and large-scale pollution.

The last appointment of the month is an evening organized in partnership with Fifac as part of the screenings Hors les murs!

The film will be followed by an exchange and sale of products for the benefit of the association YanaColorZ, which aims to fight against discrimination related to sex, gender, sexual orientation.

Synopsis: After a dozen years of absence, Lasseindra Ninja, a key icon of voguing, returns to Guyana, his native land, to train young dancers. By transmitting a state of mind and an attitude based on assertiveness, she gives them tools to resist the hostility of the world around them. Invented in the underground clubs of New York in the 80s, voguing allowed Blacks and Latinos from the LGBTIQ + community to express themselves in the form of dances, in a secure space.

Friday, November 15 at the multipurpose room of the Village of Paddock, forty people were present for the projection of the film Ka'apor, the last fight of Nicolat Millet. This film addresses the fight of the Amerindians of the Alto Turiaçu reserve (Brazil) against the illegal loggers present on the territory.
