Le Lion’s Club de Macouria s’engage pour les élèves

Alors que nous entrons en période de rentrée des classes, les membres du Lion’s Club Macouria Culture & Progrès ont souhaité agir en faveur des familles les plus modestes en organisant une collecte de fournitures scolaires au centre commercial Carrefour Matoury le 24 août dernier.

La motivation des bénévoles a suscité un élan de générosité permettant de recueillir une quantité de cahiers, crayons, feuilles et autres classeurs, qui seront remis au CCAS de Macouria en présence du Président-maire, ce vendredi 30 août au Pôle Social de Soula.

As we enter the back-to-school season, members of Lion's Club Macouria Culture & Progress wanted to act in favor of the most modest families by organizing a collection of school supplies at the Carrefour Matoury shopping center on August 24th.

The motivation of the volunteers has generated a surge of generosity to collect a number of notebooks, pencils, sheets and other binders, which will be given to the CCAS Macouria in the presence of the President-Mayor, this Friday, August 30 at the Social Pole of Soula.
